Aetherian Dynasty

Aetheria is an Asian dynasty. It got created in the Third Phase. It is a independent Chinese Dynasty, ruled by one warlord, Xiaoran Wei:. However, he calls himself emperor. The capital city of Aetheria is Jinlong.

History

Third Phase

In the First Phase and Second Phase Aetheria did not exist. In the Third Phase there are 2 large Chinese Dynasties. This is the Han Dynasty and Qing Dynasty. The Ming Dynasty also is quite large. Aetheria had a hard time surviving due to competition. Furthermore heavy rain and overpopulation caused damages and a lot of unemployment. The unemployment rate was higher than the unemployment rate of Xilocapan, one of the worst cities to live in. It's got around 90% unemployment, whilst Aetheria had a 95% unemployment rate. Due to this, Aetheria sought allies and economic aid. The Han Dynasty was rather aggressive and raided Aetheria. This lead to even more economical problems. Aetheria did not declare war on the Han Dynasty, for the sake of its survival. Aetheria eventually managed to merge with 3 other Asian villages. This formed the Aetherian Dynasty. It was ruled by the Jade Council, a group of warlords ruling Aetheria. There is one leader of the Jade Council, called the emperor. This emperor is Xiaoran Wei.

War

The Han Dynasty started to take notice to the growing Aetherian Dynasty, which has been recovering economically from its past and raids. The Han Dynasty decided to raid Aetheria once more, to weaken Aetheria. However, this went badly for the Han Dynasty as Aetheria fought back. The Han Dynasty officially declared war on Aetheria, which led to the Qing Dynasty reaching out for an alliance with Aetheria. Aetheria accepted this request, and was protected by the Qing Dynasty. This lead to a large battle in one of the villages of Aetheria. This lead to a large economic decline for Aetheria. The damages were not fixed due to economic issues.

Warfare

The Aetherians noticed the Xilocapanian invention, the Grenade. They also noticed the Mayan invention, the catapult. These were being used in wars more often now. An example is the Iran-Iraq war. Here, Iran fought the Iraqis with Aztec and Mayan aid. This lead houses in the Iraqi city Barsa being destroyed. This lead to the city being useless and abandoned by civlians.

Chinese Dynasties saw this and wanted to prevent this. Therefore, they built large cities, with some houses having basements. These basements would be created to keep civilians safer and keep casualties lower. This would also cause destruction of houses to be more useless, as there are basements to retreat to. However, this comes with disadvantages. Invaders can use these basements to hide and supply their fighting forces, as a base.
