Ernesto Sagrada (cousin)Leonardo Sagrada is a high ranking Germanic official. He is originally from Argentinia, however, now he lives in Germania. Leonardo Sagrada earned a high rank due to his military victories. In World War II, he rose to the rank of Generaloberst. After the war he would be promoted to Reichsminister and party member of the GNP. Eventually he was even promoted to the rank of Gauleiter. Following that moment, like his cousin Ernesto Sagrada, he would utilise his monopoly on the Salamancas to be a succesful businessman, earning a large amount of money. He kept his monopoly in place using two strategies:
- Firstly, Leonardo Sagrada took a small portion of the earnings of the drugs and other smuggled items the Salamancas would smuggle across the border. In return he would urge Schutzstaffel units not to actively check the border. Leonardo instead ordered them to focus on the internal matters. This gave Leonardo money and the Salamancas safety
- Secondly, Leonardo Sagrada utilised his brothers rank well. His brother, Lorenzo Sagrada, was a private inspector (officially Reichsinspektor). The Sagradas knew of the presence of Salamancas in Germania. Leonardo told the Salamancas to be loyal to the Sagradas. If the Salamancas would be disloyal, the Sagradas would immediately get all Salamancas in Germania arrested. In return to stay loyal to the Sagradas, the Salamancas would receive little to no inspections. Lorenzo Sagrada would also tell his superiors that the Salamancas in Germania were completely legally active.
History
Early Days
As a young Argentinian boy, Leonardo Sagrada would have a rough childhood. Leonardo's father would abuse Leonardo Sagrada and Lorenzo Sagrada. At the age of fifteen, Leonardo killed another teenager. Lorenzo, being only ten years old, had studied about the law. Leonardo could not afford a lawyer. Because of this, he resorted to using Lorenzo as lawyer. Though the Argentinian government dissaproved of this, it clearly showed the close bond Leonardo and Lorenzo had. Leonardo lost the case, and was sentenced to three years in prison. However, Leonardo was released after just two weeks when an older sympathetic Argentinian bailed him out.
In the two weeks Leonardo was gone, Lorenzo was preparing an escape plan. He gathered Ernesto Sagrada (17 years) and eventually Leonardo (15 at the time). They used a tiny paddle boat to escape Argentinia. They arrived in Namibia, a German colony at the time. They were allowed to go on board on a large boat, towards Berlin. Immediately after arriving in Berlin, the 3 boys were arrested. They were later put free and were put for adoption.
Leonardo, fearing they had to split up if adopted, told Ernesto and Lorenzo they had to find a way to kill anyone trying to adopt them. Ernesto liked the plan immediately, though Lorenzo was cautious.
After World War I had ended, the 3 boys were still not adopted. Ernesto by now was legally an adult and adopted Leonardo and Lorenzo so no one else could. Leonardo would investigate political parties to achieve a high rank in. Lorenzo did the same. Leonardo would eventually find a poster showing generals. Being inspired, he applied for a job. Lorenzo on the other hand, found the DAP (Abbreviation for German Workers' Party). Lorenzo got into contact with Adolf Hitler. Adolf Hitler didn't like Lorenzo, due to his darker skin colour. However, Lorenzo would earn Hitler's trust and become a well respected individual. In the meantime, Leonardo applied for the German military. He was accepted as an officer. He slowly started to climb up the ranks . In 1935, the Wehrmacht was created. Due to his high rank, he was granted the rank of Oberstleutnant. He would not do much until the beginning of World War II. In 1936 he would become an uncle, due to Ernesto becoming the father of Rogelio Sagrada. Leonardo became a father a year later, in 1936. His son is called Michel Sagrada.
In 1939, Germany invaded Poland. Leonardo went straight back into the German Ranks. Due to his successes, he was promoted to Generalmajor. He was then stationed in Denmark & Norway. Leonardo made a deal with the Danish to give up their territory in return for keeping their government. Due to his repetitive successes, Leonardo was promoted to Generalleutnant. Leonardo then remained quiet throughout the whole war, enjoying his luxury with his family. Hitler then requested Leonardo to help him invade America. Hitler wanted his own input aswell, which many generals disliked. Leonardo convinced Hitler to leave it to the generals. Many generals liked Leonardo for this. He was promoted to General. Once the invasion of the United States of America commenced, Leonardo was terrified it would turn into an destructive war. However, due to Generaloberst Rudolf Riefenstein's successes, the United States of America capitulated. Because Leonardo was also responsible for the capitulation of the United States of America, he was promoted to Generaloberst.
Leonardo was one of the key member of the American Germanification. Due to his successes and there not being war anymore, he was given the ranks of Reichsminister and Gauleiter. He was also made a party member of the GNP (Abbreviation for Germanic National Party). Later, Leonardo joined the Schutzstaffel and was given the rank of Oberstgruppenführer.
