History
Early History
Hector Salamanca was born in Mexico. Not much is known about his early years. However, he and Hernán Salamanca joined the Maldeira Cartel. Hector made sure his family members, mostly the males, would be trained for cartel business. Hector would impressively climb up the ranks of the Maldeira Cartel and become one of the highest ranking dons. Hector started making allies, such as Eladio Vuente, also a high ranking don. Hector and Eladio eventually also met Juan Bolsa, another don. Together they started plotting to overthrow Maldeira as Maldeira was making enemies and allies for personal gain and didn't care too much about the other cartel members. This system was widely disliked by numerous cartel members. Eladio Vuente took the lead in the plot. He started designing his own cartel. Bolsa would be the second in command and Hector would be third in command. Eladio thought of a name and called it the Eladio Cartel. They started looking for other members and found many willing participants to join the cartel. However, all of it was just an idea at the moment. Eventually, the Sinaloa Cartel was formed, with the 4 dons Joaquin Guzman, Ismael Zambada, Ernesto Carillo and Melchor Barrios abandoning the Maldeira Cartel. Following this, Maldeira started an alliance with the Black Hand, an organization consisting out of particularly the Changretta Family. Maldeira did this for protection of his cartel and to attack the Sinaloa Cartel. However, this was a regrettable idea. It caused many members to dislike Maldeira even more, as many did not want to ally with the mafia. At this stage, Eladio was making more and more allies. Eventually, Eladio, Bolsa, Hector and many others split away from the Maldeira Cartel and joined the newly established Eladio Cartel. Then, other cartels started breaking apart from the Maldeira Cartel. This led to Maldeira fleeing Mexico, officially disbanding the Maldeira Cartel.
The Formation of the Eladio Cartel
Eladio, Bolsa and Hector were the main dons. They made the most amount of money, until Eladio decided to live a more relaxed life, making Bolsa do administrative work. Hector and all the other dons and capos were supposed to earn the money and give a portion of the profit to Eladio. Hector disliked this greatly, as he viewed himself as one of the founding members of the cartel and should deserve a higher occupation than "just earning some money". However, Hector stayed loyal to the cartel, even bringing some of his family members into the cartel business already. This included Emmanuel Salamanca, Florencio Salamanca, Fernando Salamanca and Joaquin Salamanca. Hector pleaded for them to get high ranks, and they received this, satisfying Hector. However, most of the Salamancas were not high ranking members of the cartel and instead ranked as agents, gunmen, hitmen, drug distributors and businessmen.
Eladio liked to make his men compete to make the most amount of money and pay the most amount of tribute to Eladio. Hector especially was affected by this, as he got jealous when Bolsa or other members would give much more tribute than Hector. Eladio would tease him more to make Hector even close to angry. Hector started competing with all the other dons, especially Enrique Alvarez. Enrique Alvarez was an upcoming don who was quickly earning a lot of money for Eladio through his business, Casa Rugs. Alvarez used the carpets he made to smuggle drugs, whilst also using it for his legitimate business. Alvarez was making deals with a close-by gang mostly operating in areas such as Texas and Chihuahua, the Espinosa Gang. Hector and the Salamancas designed a plan to eradicate these trading agreements. They would stage an attack on some agents working for the Salamancas. They shot Ignacio Varga and Arturo Colon, who were also willingly a part of the plan. They then brought Varga and Colon to a hospital to take care of their wounds. They took pictures to show Eladio. Eladio was fuming. Then, after recovering, Ignacio Varga and Arturo Colon were brought before Eladio to confirm the suspicion. At that point, Eladio declared war on the Espinosas. This made Alvarez unable to use the Espinosas to potentially kill Salamancas or even overthrow the cartel. In fact, it turned the Espinosa Gang and Alvarez against each other, killing many members on both sides. Hector managed to turn them against each other by sending Marco and Leonel Salamanca to kill Enrique Alvarez's daughter, Lucie Alvarez. She works at a car mechanic shop and lives a life completely separate from her father's criminal business. Marco and Leonel approached the car shop, finding a few armed guards outside. They noticed these were the same people guarding Alvarez from time to time. They knew they were at the right spot, especially if there's people guarding the place. Knowing Lucie had to be there, Marco and Leonel took the initiative and started shooting at the guards. They killed them. They then started killing the other car mechanics. They initially did not find Lucie, however, after some thorough searching, they found her. They took her outside and killed her with an axe. They wrote a letter basically saying the Espinosas killed Lucie. For a few days, Enrique Alvarez noticed nothing. Though after about one week, Alvarez went to visit his daughter, only to find her laying dead with an axe in her body. He also saw all the other dead car mechanics and guards. He was furious. He then saw the note and swore to take revenge on the Espinosas. This way, Hector managed to not only turn Eladio against the Espinosas, but even Alvarez, the one who was nearly going to be allied to the Espinosas. The war against the Espinosas continued, with numerous casualties on both sides, but no major differences occurred. Occasionally, the Espinosas and Eladio Cartel members would fight, but it was to no avail.
The Formation of the Salamanca Cartel
Eventually, Hector and the other Salamancas started planning out an attack on Eladio, Bolsa, Alvarez and many other Eladio Cartel members. First, Hector took out Bolsa by sending Schutzstaffel forces to his hacienda and he was arrested.
Following Bolsa's arrest, he ordered an attack on Eladio and the other dons and capos. Eladio as well as the other dons and capos went into hiding in the Casa Rugs Store until they were chased out of there. They fled to Eladio's Hacienda again, with La Hermandad del Desierto guards roaming the place to protect the dons and capos, as well as Eladio himself of course. Eladio and his men started discussing the future of the cartel and what to do about the Salamanca betrayal. Eventually, the remaining Eladio Cartel members were ambushed at Eladio's hacienda. A gunfight erupted which the Salamancas and their allies were winning. They quickly killed most of the guards. The dons and capos kept on fighting. Eladio fled into the hacienda, as the gunfight was outside. More and more men were dying, with even a few men on the Salamanca side getting injured. A gunfight erupted inside the hacienda as well, which Eladio's forces were losing too. Eladio's forces, as well as the Hermandad del Desierto forces, were fighting fiercely against the Salamanca gunmen. Ultimately, Eladio lost and was brought outside to his pool, where he was confronted by Hector. He saw all the dead dons and capos laying around and was devastated. Hector Salamanca then approached Eladio and talked about how Eladio had treated him and his family badly and how now it was time for revenge. Eladio begged for mercy and even offered Hector to be the new boss. However, Hector denied the offer and shot Eladio in his head, making Eladio fall into his pool, bleeding and drowning to death. Some other capos and dons were also captured and were shot. Only few people survived and managed to escape. This includes people like Enrique Alvarez as well as Octavio Guzman.
This marked the end of the Eladio Cartel. Only few members survived the Salamanca betrayal. Hector wasn't concerned about the remaining members and left the hacienda. he then created the Salamanca Cartel. He was the boss and all the Salamancas were members of it. Also agents such as Ignacio Varga and Arturo Colon joined it.
Germania
During all of this, Hector Salamanca also requested some Salamancas to infiltrate Germania. Many Salamancas did so, such as Francisco Salamanca and various others. They first tried taking over Germania, though eventually tried avenging their family members. Obergruppenführer John Smith was involved in the killing of Pedro Salamanca and Victor Salamanca. Then Francisco tried to avenge them but was also killed. Then, Emmanuel tried too, but was also killed. To avenge these 4 Salamancas, Hector sent Juan, Franco, Alfredo and Fernando Salamanca to kill Smith's wife, two daughters and his son. They were successful in doing so. Then Gustavo Salamanca was sent to take Smith down, in which he was successful. He talked to Smith and arranged a meeting between Hector and Smith. Hector planted a bomb to kill Smith and only mildly injuring Hector and Gustavo. However, Gustavo moved the bomb so he could directly be the cause to kill Smith. However, by mistake, the bomb injured both Smith and Hector. Hector, however, suffered no heavy injuries. Smith still was heavily injured. Gustavo then started to taunt Smith. Smith had Gustavo arrested, but Gustavo used connections to be free again. Hector suggested Gustavo ends Smith for once and for all now. Gustavo agreed and went to Smith's location in the hospital. He entered the room, shot the nurses and then shot Smith. Hector recovered from his injuries quickly and was satisfied with the death of Smith.
After the death of Victor and Pedro Salamanca, Hector trapped Erwin Rommel, the boss of Enric Pryde, who was the boss of John Smith, in a room with himself and also a few other agents. Erwin Rommel spoke to Hector to buy weapons for the Schutzstaffel. Hector was not planning on selling any weapons, and instead then shot Erwin Rommel through the head, killing the general. He also arranged a deal with the Sagradas, letting the Salamancas move their drugs over the border into mostly Texas, where they could send it to distributors who would then in turn pay the Salamancas again. The Sagradas saw this as having a monopoly on the Salamancas, but Hector only saw it as a effective way of getting product over the border whilst avoiding checks by border patrol.
Gustavo & Hector
Then, Gustavo Salamanca went after Octavio Guzman, a former member of the Eladio Cartel. The Salamancas devised a plan to trap Octavio Guzman in a party. Gonzalo Salamanca would organize a party. After having organized it, Octavio Guzman arrived and went inside, hoping to find some new business associates, not knowing there would be Salamancas. Hector ordered the Salamancas to start shooting in the crowd, not necessarily killing anybody though. The goal was to drive Octavio in a corner. They were successful in doing so. Gustavo Salamanca together with Gonzalo and Matias Salamanca went downstairs to the basement, where Octavio was hiding. Gustavo confronted Octavio, saying he had to die. Octavio tried to pull his pistol. Gustavo responded by pulling his own pistol too and shooting Octavio's hand, making his drop his gun. Then, Octavio Guzman fell to the ground, looking at his bleeding hand. Then, Gustavo approached Octavio. He then pulled his gun again and shot Octavio in the abdomen, causing him to bleed to death, killing the former Eladio Cartel don.
Gustavo managed to become the Führer for a while. However, Gustavo's identity was discovered. So Gustavo quickly phoned Hector. Hector told Gustavo to go to Mexico, to live the cartel life. However, Gustavo told Hector he would try to continue to conquer Germania. Hector then questioned why he was calling him when he already had made his mind up. To this, Gustavo had no answer and hung up. SS agents were awaiting Gustavo in his penthouse, as Gustavo expected. Gustavo killed most of the SS agents, making some agents even flee to other rooms or even flee the building in general. Gustavo then tried using the elevator to escape, but it didn't work. Furthermore, SS agents were waiting outside for him. He somehow escaped and fled to Mexico, to live with Hector and his family again. Hector was satisfied that Gustavo was still alive. Leonardo Sagrada replaced Gustavo as the new Führer, which Hector nor Gustavo have much of a problem with. The Sagradas were in fact still an ally of the Salamancas, but were much less suspicious, as they weren't a part of any cartels.
Present
To this day, Hector continues his drug trafficking business and the Salamanca cartel as well. Hector Salamanca is one of the most feared Salamancas.
Personality
- Hector Salamanca is old yet still quite wise. He manages to outsmart a lot of his opponents whilst seeming weak and fragile. He firmly believes, like every Salamanca, in "blood for blood" and "Familia es todo", translating to family is all. Hector also sternly believes that his family sacrificed the most for the Eladio Cartel. Due to this, he deems himself sometimes worthy above Eladio himself. Hector acts on his own behalf, for his family. He also tends to be jealous when other capos give Eladio more money than Hector does, as Hector sees himself as the one who should be able to get the most amount of profit. Eladio thinks Hector is entitled and thinks he owns too much, but Hector and many other Salamancas think different. They think Hector and the Salamanca family deserve all the respect Hector and the Salamancas desire.
Appearance

- Hector Salamanca is old and therefore has an old appearance too. He has the Hispanic skin colour. He wears a tan suit with a visible dark blue blouse underneath it. He wears black gloves. Additionally, he has gray hair. Hector Salamanca used to have a different face, which is visible in the picture to the right of this text. His clothes and gloves are the same, however, his head is different. Now, it has a more elderly look to it, fitting Hector's old age better. Other than his head, everything is the same.
- Hector Salamanca's oldest version had the older head too, but also with different clothing. It was a brown coat with dark red and gold tints to it. It also had black gloves.
