Wehrmacht Ranks
Appearance
A list of all the Wehrmacht ranks from highest to lowest. Keep in mind, some of these images and information come from:
- Wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ranks_and_insignia_of_the_German_Army_(1935%E2%80%931945)#Ranks_and_rank_insignia)
- Deviantart (https://www.deviantart.com/grand-lobster-king/art/Wehrmacht-Heer-Rank-Insignia-1935-1945-792910989)
I have not given credit for the insignia for made up ranks, unless they use the same insignia as another existing rank. However, made up ranks' insignia are clearly based on insignia used in other real existing ranks, which do receive credit.

Kriegsführer | The Kriegsführer is the highest rank in the Wehrmacht. It is only held by one person. The first and only person to hold this rank is Rudolf Riefenstein. A Kriegsführer has the privilege of commencing any military decisions without the Führers permission. However, the Führer can still depose the Kriegsführer. | Supreme Field Marshal |
