Huitzilopochtli

Huitzilopochtli is a Mesoamerican god, mostly worshipped by the Aztecs. It god of the sun and war. In the Third Aztec Empire, Huitzilopochtli started being worshipped by the Aztecs. However this was not much. In the Fourth Aztec Empire, Huitzilopochtli was still not worshipped a lot. However, it did receive a temple in Tenochtitlan, sharing it with the god of Rain and Thunder, Tlaloc. In the Fifth Aztec Empire, Huitzilopochtli would again receive a temple devoted to Huitzilopochtli and Tlaloc. Now, these gods were the most worshipped gods.
