Jack Nelson is an influencial businessman who aligned himself with many high ranking Germanic officials, aswell as some gangsters and cartel bosses. He became friends with Hermann Göring. Utilising that friendship, Jack Nelson achieved a high position in Germania.
Jack Nelson‘s niece, Gina Nelson, would start to date Michael Gray, an important figure in the gang, the Peaky Blinders. Gustavo Salamanca was one of the few living Salamancas. He did business well and defeated John Smith personally. Jack Nelson admired Gustavo.
Gustavo would become the next Führer, a title Nelson had long wanted. Jack Nelson and Thomas Shelby would develop a plan to take down Gustavo and for Jack Nelson to be the next Führer, as he was more fit to hold this rank than Thomas Shelby. In return, Thomas would receive a lot of money.
The Peaky Blinders and Nelson awaited Gustavo. However, Gustavo‘s identity was discovered by SS-units. Gustavo walked into his penthouse, where the Peaky Blinders and Nelson awaited him. There, he would fire at Thomas Shelby and Finn Shelby, killing them both. Nelson fled to another room. Gustavo, realising it was a trap, tried to escape using the elevator. It didn‘t work, and SS-units were standing outside.
Gustavo somehow escaped, though no one is sure how. Jack Nelson was promoted to Acting Chancellor. Jack Nelson ordered an investigation to where Gustavo went. However, these investigations gave no results.
Later, Jack Nelson would be removed from office as acting chancellor due to there being a new Führer.
Nelson would then rival the Italian groups in American areas. The Castellammarese War between Al Capone and Maranzano was great for Nelson, since he could profit well of these fights. However, he would then face the new large threat, the Changretta Family. This is an Italian Family filled with Mafia Bosses and Gangsters. Though most of the Changretta‘s by now had been killed, by notably mostly Salamancas, Vito Changretta remained.
Being one of the oldest members, Vito could not do much anymore, but he was still influencial. This bothered Nelson. Nelson wanted to confront Vito directly, and as he did, Vito and some of his Mafia members attacked Nelson. Nelson was backed by SS-Soldiers, but it was unsuccesful against the many Mafia members. Nelson fled the scene defeated.
