Francisco Salamanca is a member of the Salamanca Family. He is also active in Germania as Obergruppenführer and eventually even Oberstgruppenführer. He attempts to avenge his family members Pedro Salamanca and Victor Salamanca by killing John Smith, who was involved in their deaths. However, he was unsuccessful and killed.

History

Francisco Salamanca grew up with many other Salamancas and was brought to the cartel business. However, together with various others, he was selected to infiltrate Germania. He quickly rose up to a high rank of Obergruppenführer and eventually even Oberstgruppenführer. Hector Salamanca, selected Francisco to be the Führer if they manage to achieve that. However, Francisco never achieved this rank. Pedro and Victor Salamanca were sent to kill John Smith and Enric Pryde. Pedro and Victor initiated a shootout. Pedro and Victor were standing behind a car whilst Pryde and Smith were standing behind their car. Enric Pryde shot Pedro and went over to the Salamanca car to kill Pedro. However, here, Victor managed to kill Pryde. In the time Victor was trying to kill Pryde, Smith ran up to Victor and tried to kill him. After a physical fight between Victor and Smith, Smith managed to grab his pistol and shoot Victor, killing him. Francisco was furious, as were the other Salamancas, particularly Hector. Francisco swore to avenge Pedro and Victor. He went to Smith's penthouse to kill Smith. He was successful in getting Smith to surrender. However, Smith had expected someone would try to kill him. Therefore, Smith had set up a bomb. Smith sitting on his knees whilst Francisco was standing caused the explosion to knock Francisco down and injure him badly, whilst Smith was only mildly injured. He pulled his gun and made Francisco face a broken window. Smith then shot Francisco through his head.

Personality

Francisco Salamanca is eager to become the Führer, to rule over Germania and prove to the rest of his family he is powerful and mighty. He tends to enjoy luxury, but will go far to avenge his family members. Francisco believes in blood for blood, so if someone kills one of his family members or friends, or anyone he holds close, he'll avenge them. Additionally, he's very intelligent.

Appearance

Francisco Salamanca has the Hispanic skin colour with somewhat long brown hair. He has broad shoulders due to his impressive physique. Other than that, he wears black clothing with black gloves.

Notes & Trivia

Francisco Salamanca is the first Salamanca Lego minifigure made.

Originally, the Francisco Salamanca minifigure was going to be the character Joseph Blake also known as Joe Blake. However, this idea was scrapped and he was renamed to have the name Salamanca, together with Victor Salamanca and Pedro Salamanca.
