History
The War
The First Battle
In the first battle the Kingdom of Jerusalem fought was against the forces of Hamas, a Palestinian military group. The Kingdom of Jerusalem also fought against the forces of Persia, also known as Iran. Hamas attacked Jerusalem, however, under Baldwin IV, the forces of Jerusalem emerged victorious.
The Second Battle
Hamas felt humbled and asked help to its allies Hezbollah, Persia and the Aztecs. The Aztecs were not a direct ally of Hamas. However, the Aztecs were an ally of the Persians. Hamas also had an alliance with Persia, therefore, the Aztecs got involved in this war aswell. Jerusalem noticed the buildup of armies in nearby Palestinian villages under the influence of Hamas. The Aztec Empire, Hamas, Hezbollah and Persia now opposed the powerful and yet small army of Jerusalem. The armies of Jerusalem attacked these villages and the buildup of armies. Against all odds, the forces of Jerusalem managed to defeat the Aztecs, Hamas, Hezbollah and Persia, in the area of Palestinian villages under the influence of Hamas, after suffering heavy losses.
The Third Battle
Jerusalem was threatened by enemy forces. Persia, Hamas and Hezbollah reinvaded the Palestinian villages. The Aztecs then also attacked these villages. A large battle commenced. Armies of Jerusalem fought fiercely. After Montezuma II heard of the large amounts of Aztec losses, he ordered the withdrawal of Aztec armies in these Palestinian villages. This left Hamas, Hezbollah and Persia in a dire situation. Persian casualties skyrocketed, however, the armies kept trying to push back the armies of Jerusalem. Baldwin IV, leading the armies of Jerusalem, ordered the retreat of his armies. This led to a defeat for the Kingdom of Jerusalem.
However, this was not catastrophic according to Baldwin IV. Jerusalem remained unharmed. The only thing Jerusalem had lost, was "a few soldiers and conquered land".
The Fourth Battle
Leader of Jerusalem, Baldwin IV, thought the Aztecs had an unstable empire, as the Aztecs withdrew. However, the Aztec reason to withdraw was to prevent high casualties. The Aztecs also trusted Persia to defeat Jerusalem single-handedly. However, Jerusalem took this Aztec withdraw as a sign of Aztec weakness.
Therefore, Baldwin ordered a bold move, invading Tenochtitlan, the Aztec capital city. However, the forces of Jerusalem failed. These armies got ambushed by a large Aztec fleet. The remaining soldiers under Baldwin IV had to retreat. Baldwins flagship was attacked by 3 Somalian Pirate ships. These were sailing with 5 more Aztec warships. Baldwin IV's flagship got hit by a few cannon shots, however, he escaped the ships. Baldwin IV stated he nearly died during this bold attempt, and swore to not attempt such a bold attack again.
Aftermath
Baldwin IV and his armies of Jerusalem did not defeat their enemies, but showed great fierce fighting, which scared off the enemies of Jerusalem.
Baldwins health was deteriorating. He went to find a cure for his Leprosy. However, he did not succeed at first. He sent a small group of soldiers to investigate if there was anything to do to save him. Eventually, this group found an ancient artifact. It was a necklace. It was given to Baldwin IV. He mysteriously was cured of his Leprosy the next day. This group was greatly rewarded by Baldwin IV.
Jerusalem started to prosper from economic growth and no battles. Officially, Jerusalem was still at war, but not attacks happened. Until eventually Hamas started occasionally raiding mostly banks and farms in Jerusalem. However, most of these raids were defeated by the armies of Jerusalem. The raiders would be apprehended and put in prison. They would be released for a large sum of money Hamas would have to pay to Jerusalem. Hamas did not pay any sums of money, and therefore did not receive its raiders back. These raiders would often eventually go to the Court of Jerusalem, where the raiders would be sentenced to life in prison or in some cases even sentenced to death.
