The Mayan phase temple is a Mayan temple used to end the Second Phase. The Mayas activated the temple after the Aztecs requested the Mayas to, because the Aztecs became scared of entering a stalemate in a war against the Mongolian Empire
The Mayas did not exist in the First Phase, as the whole Mesoamerican culture did not exist back then. So the first phase ended naturally. The second phase ended because of this temple. The Third Phase can possibly be brought to an end by another Mayan Temple, the Gran Jaguar, also known as Templo I, situated in Tikal.
