Ernesto Fonseca Carrillo is a former high ranking capo in the Maldeira Cartel. Ernesto co-founded the Sinaloa Cartel, earning himself the rank of head advisor. He is involved in the cartel coup against Joaquin Guzman, even receiving the rank of highest Boss after the success of the coup due to Melchor Barrios's unwillingness to be the face of the cartel.

History

Ernesto Fonseca Carrillo was born in Sinaloa, Mexico. Not much is known about his family, but it is reported he adored his parents. However, it also appears his parents are deceased. Ernesto Fonseca joined the Maldeira Cartel at a young age. He was involved in many missions and eventually got himself the rank of agent. In one fairly dangerous mission, Ernesto was injured, having a gunshot wound in his stomach. He was taken care of swiftly and recovered after a few days. He was promoted to a capo shortly after due to his bravery and loyalty. With this, he came into contact with Melchor Barrios, better known as Don Melchor. Ernesto and Melchor became good friends. They eventually met Joaquin Guzman and Ismael Zambada, who would be known as El Chapo and El Mayo.

Giovanni Maldeira, the Boss, started acting for his own personal interests. Due to this, the Sinaloa Cartel was created. It was founded by Joaquin Guzman (El Chapo), Ismael Zambada (El Mayo), Melchor Barrios (Don Melchor) and Ernesto Fonseca himself, also known as Don Neto. The Sinaloa Cartel immediately became a large group. After more groups starting splitting away from the Maldeira Cartel, such as the Eladio Cartel and Potosino Cartel, the Sinaloa Cartel became the largest criminal organization in the Americas. In the meantime, the Sinaloa Cartel allied itself with the gang, Los Mexicles. Los Mexicles would become the personal guard of the Sinaloa Cartel bosses. Another gang, Cartel de los Soles, became powerful in Colombia. Ernesto Fonseca established good relations with this gang, eventually requesting the other Sinaloa Cartel members to formally request an alliance with the Cartel de los Soles. The request was granted by Don Melchor, El Chapo and El Mayo. He then sent the alliance request to Cartel de los Soles. A few days later, the alliance was accepted. Cartel de los Soles would serve as the gang under the Sinaloa wing to fight Cartel de la Sierra, which is also active in Colombia.

In the Eladio Cartel there was dangerous instability. The Salamanca Family was growing stronger incredibly fast. Eventually, the Salamancas tried to kill all Capos and Dons that didn't belong to the Salamancas in the Eladio Cartel. As Octavio Guzman and Tulio Guzman both are members of the Eladio Cartel, Joaquin Guzman wanted to jump to their aid. Don Melchor approached Don Neto, proposing to do the same as the Salamancas, overthrowing their current leadership. Don Neto agreed. However, Don Neto said El Mayo was not to be affected, only El Chapo was to be deposed. Furthermore, El Chapo was not to be killed, just deposed. Melchor Barrios accepted this with his own catch to it, El Chapo would have to give himself up to the Schutzstaffel. The next week, Melchor and Ernesto apprehended numerous dons and capos, as well as the boss, Joaquin Guzman. In that meantime, Joaquin Guzman had phoned Octavio Guzman, informing him Sinaloa reinforcements would arrive at Eladio's Hacienda to defend Eladio and his men from the Salamancas, as well as defending Chapo's family members, Octavio Guzman and Tulio Guzman. However, now, Joaquin was arrested. Don Neto wanted to retreat the forces immediately, to prevent confusion between the Sinaloa Cartel and Eladio Cartel. However, Don Melchor disagreed. He stated that they should let the soldiers arrive and commence shooting at the unsuspecting Eladio Cartel members. Once the forces of the Sinaloa Cartel arrived at Eladio's Hacienda, they were greeted warmly. However, the Sinaloa Cartel gunmen started shooting at Eladio's forces. This caused a large battle, which the Salamancas swiftly joined.

The Salamancas sided with Don Melchor and Don Neto in a temporary alliance. A high number of Dons and Capos, as well as guards, were rapidly killed. Eladio decided to flee into his hacienda itself. He was then eventually killed in a long gunfight between primarily Salamancas and Eladio's men. The Sinaloa Cartel was already withdrawing after killing the initial line of Eladio's guards. Don Neto was put in power as Don Melchor did not want to be the face of the cartel. However, practically, Melchor Barrios was the boss. He received the most amount of money and was the most important. This caused Don Neto to be widely regarded as the main figure of the Sinaloa Cartel, whilst Don Melchor's existence to many was uncertain.

To this day, Ernesto Fonseca as well as Melchor Barrios continue to rule the Sinaloa Cartel.

Personality

Don Neto has a good sense of humor. He also likes luxury. Unlike Melchor Barrios or Ismael Zambada, he does not mind being the main figure of the cartel. However, he does like their advice to lay low until the time is right to strike or advance.

Ernesto Fonseca Carrillo is a Caucasian male with a mustache and slick hair. He wears a green suit with black gloves. Additionally, he carries a Luger P08.
