Eladio Vuente is the highest Don of the Eladio Cartel. He made the cartel with second highest Don Juan Bolsa and third highest Don Hector Salamanca. Eventually his cartel business grew to an extraordinary size. Eladio Vuente has no known family.

History

Eladio Vuente joined the Maldeira Cartel at one point. He eventually achieved the rank of Capo. He started to enjoy the spoils of being a high ranking cartel member. Two other Capos at the time, Juan Bolsa and Hector Salamanca, did too, but less. Giovanni Maldeira was making more enemies, much to the disliking of the other cartel members. A split erupted in Maldeira's Cartel. Eladio, together with Bolsa and Hector formed the Eladio Cartel. Eladio Vuente would be the boss, whilst Juan bolsa would be second in command and Hector third in command. Maldeira's other capos started going to the Eladio Cartel as well. First Armando Cesar and Enrique Alvarez went to Eladio's Cartel. Then Octavio Guzman did the same. A while later, when the Changretta Family officially allied with Giovanni Maldeira, Pascual Renaldo, Efrain Artuno and Oscar Cisco also left Maldeira's Cartel. Maldeira then disbanded his cartel and fully moved to mafia business. For a while, the Eladio Cartel business went smooth until the Espinosa Gang was established. At first the Espinosa Gang and Eladio Cartel went along, mostly due to Eladio himself. Eladio together with Bolsa were the only ones accepting of the trade with the gang. However, eventually the gang "attacked" Ignacio Varga and Arturo Colon. Both of them survived and had a few bullet wounds. However, this was just staged by the Salamancas, Ignacio Varga and Arturo Colon. Because of this, mostly Eladio was furious and declared war on the Espinosa Gang.

After a while, Enrique Alvarez started competing with the Salamancas. He started using the Espinosa Gang to his advantage. However, not much after this rivalry started, Marco Salamanca and Leonel Salamanca shot a few Espinosa Gang members as well as some random meth cooks belonging to Enrique Alvarez. Eladio asked Juan Bolsa to take care of the situation, but it was already too late. That same evening, Juan Bolsa was shot in his personal hacienda by Schutzstaffel agents, whilst the Salamancas and their agents attacked Eladio's Hacienda. They shot and injured both Eladio and Alvarez. The Eladio Cartel was then disbanded. The Salamanca Cartel was established instead of it.

Eladio went to a hospital, where he was taken care of for his wounds. Alvarez decided to take Eladio under his protection. Eladio continued his life for a while in quarantine in the Casa Rugs Store. However, eventually the Salamancas set fire to the building, injuring Eladio again. Eladio then tried going back to his old hacienda, finding it empty. He brought some of Alvarez's agents as well as some members of La Hermandad del Desierto. He wanted to revive the Eladio Cartel. However, then Salamancas and some Salamanca agents arrived at the Hacienda and started firing at the guards. Eladio tried hiding inside the house. Quickly all guards were killed or tried to flee the scene. Hector Salamanca was standing at the pool. Some Salamancas or Salamanca agents pulled Eladio Vuente out of the house after a brief gunfight between a few remaining guards protecting Eladio. Eladio was brought in front of Hector Salamanca. Hector Salamanca then shot Eladio Vuente in the head. Eladio fell into the pool, completely ending the Eladio Cartel too.

Personality

Eladio is quite arrogant and rude sometimes. He is also very greedy, desiring money above anything. He enjoys his life of luxury and is a key figure to a lot of characters. He likes to joke around a lot too and makes sure everyone knows that he is the boss. Furthermore, he is very intelligent. He makes his Dons and Capos compete with eachother to make the most amount of money and give Eladio the most amount of money. This way of creating competition earns a lot of money for him.

Appearance

Eladio wears white trousers with long black boots whilst also wearing a unbuttoned shirt. He wears no gloves. Additionally, he has slick straight hair and a serious look.

Notes & Trivia

• Eladio Vuente is an actual character in the Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul series. There, he is the boss of "The Cartel", also known as the Juárez Cartel. There, he is the boss, with Bolsa and Hector as important Dons/Capos.

• The name Eladio means Greek;Man from Greece.

• Obviously, the name "Eladio Cartel" came from the name "Eladio Vuente".

• Even though, just like the Salamancas, Eladio doesn't like Octavio Guzman or Enrique Alvarez, he keeps them around for the money anyways.
