He reports to [[Heinrich Himmler]], the [[Reichsführer]]. Goertzmann together with others such as [[Adolf Eichmann]] were used by Himmler to taunt Smith. However, he would meet [[John Smith]] later on and ally him. They would commit the [[Smith & Goertzmann Putsch]]. This putsch killed a few high ranking Germanic officials, including Heinrich Himmler. Though at first the death was seen as a tragedy by many, a rising number of people started suspecting Goertzmann being behind the act. After John Smith's incident with Hector Salamanca, where John Smith got severely injured, Goertzmann was suddenly arrested for treason. However, Goertzmann was not sentenced to a punishment yet. Goertzmann was brought to court and sentenced to death. Following that, Goertzmann was presumably executed. However, some reports state that Goertzmann was never executed and instead escaped prison, now living a decent life far away from Germania. Other reports state Goertzmann is living under protection of John Smith. Though the Germanian officials state that he is deceased.

Himmler used Goertzmann to somewhat taunt Smith, trying to show Smith that he does not own the American part of Germania. However, this then backfired for Himmler as Smith killed Himmler and Goertzmann killed other high ranking Germanic officers and generals. Later he was arrested and sentenced to death.

Wilhelm Goertzmann is a calm and tidy man. He tends to enjoy luxury whilst also wanting everything clean. Goertzmann is nice to his colleagues and family, but to the people who oppose Goertzmann, Goertzmann is a lot less nice. Even going as far as to kill them. He is still relatively young, at the age of 36.
