Meztli is a Mesoamerican city. It was created in the Second Phase.
It's under the influence of the Fourth Aztec Empire. The city Meztli is either Aztec or Mayan. Meztli is the furthest away from the fourth Aztec Empire than any Aztec city (besides Tikal). It is also situated on top of a mountain. Due to its terrain and distance it has very little self sustaining food supplies and little to no trade routes. This leaves Meztli as one of the most isolated cities in the Second Phase.
The temple in Meztli is believed to be based on the Gran Jaguar temple (also known as Templo I, built in Tikal in the Third Phase.
