The Lionarchy is a large plushie state and a vassal of the Tigerium. The Lionarchy functions as an constitutional monarchy, with Leeuwtje, head of the House of Orleons, as its monarch. The exact date of the Lionarchy's establishment is disputed, though it is formally set on December 1st 2025, the date of the establishment of the constitutional monarchy. The legislature is filled with representatives appointed through proportional democratic elections, which are held every three months. During the elections, lions cast a vote for a political party. The largest political party provides the prime minister. The capital is Palleon and the Lionarchy is solely inhabited by lions. The national currency is the Tigerium Crown.
History
Panther War
During the panther war, the lions were headed by emperor Leonidas I. Leonidas sided with the Tigerium against Pantheron's Pantheria. Little is known about the war effort by the Lionarchy during the war. Leonidas, alongside all lions besides Leeuwtje were absorbed into the void. Though it marked an end to the war, the Lionarchy was entirely destroyed.
Build-up of the Lionarchy
After the catastrophic void-event, Leeuwtje proclaimed himself king of the Lionarchy, as there were no lions to oppose him. In the Tigerium, Tijgertje proclaimed herself queen. The two monarchs opened communications and started friendly relations. After having built up a friendship, Leeuwtje allowed the Lionarchy to become a vassal-state of the Tigerium in order to receive more support and to be able to build the nations up together.
Certain enemies like Tijgeron opposed the Tigerium and subsequently also the Lionarchy. However, Leeuwtje himself never experienced much violence from Tijgeron. Regardless, the Lionarchy declared war on Tijgeron's Hordes.
Void escapees
At some point during 2025, several lions escaped the void. Some old family members of Leeuwtje returned. Leeuwtje granted them high-ranking positions. Several other lions also escaped the void, including the old emperor Leonidas I and members of the House of Roarborne, who before the void-event were a high ranking family and served Leonidas I. The escapees populated the Lionarchy but also caused internal conflict.
Lionarchic civil war
Main article: Lionarchy civil war
After lions started returning from the void, around May of 2025, former-emperor Leonidas I declared independence and urged his loyalists to take up arms against the current monarchy headed by Leeuwtje. The current monarchy was still a vassal to the Tigerium, so immediately the Fangtooth Clan intervened and seized key positions within the Lionarchy, keeping Leeuwtje in charge of the country. However, this did not end the conflict, as Leonidas I maintained the attacks on the royalist forces.
Belligerents
Though the conflict started as an internal civil war, it turned into a proxy war soon after it started. The Tigerium, Pigtopia, Beardom, Hopstate, Juniorwood and United Neckdom supported Leeuwtje, whereas several other countries, often opposing the hegemony of the Tigerium, predominantly the Sibearian Federation, People's Republic of Honingen, Gray Triumvirate, Hyenian Dynasty, Royal Primate and Tijgeron's Hordes supported Leonidas.
Nemerakian Theocratic State
During the civil war, a third insurgence group was detected. This insurgence group, the Nemerakian Theocratic State (NTS), led by Nemerak, a lion who was mainly active before the void-event and was seen as a god by large amounts of lions, was notoriously violent towards both sides and aimed to establish a large Nemerakian state with Nemerak as it's absolute ruler.
House of Roarborne

A fourth small faction appeared not much later as well, headed by the House of Roarborne. This group remained neutral for the most part of the war, attempting to appease both sides and the family presented themselves as the neutral compromise and aimed to depose both Leeuwtje and Leonidas I. Additionally, they declared NTS a terrorist organization. As the Roarbornes grew in power, the Sibearian Federation as well as the Gray Triumvirate moved their support entirely from Leonidas's faction to the Roarborne-faction.
Democratization
The House of Roarborne was led by Scor. He and his family aimed to rule the Lionarchy in a democratic way, with the head of the Roarbornes reigning as president. The Tigerium and Pigtopian monarchies both supported Leeuwtje's absolute leadership. The bears of the Beardom hold democracy in high esteem. The Beardom monarchs, under pressure of the legislature and the general population, compelled Leeuwtje into formally adopting a constitutional monarchy, despite the Tigerium and Pigtopian support.
Lionarchic Roarist Party

Regardless of Leeuwtje reducing his power to a constitutional monarch, Scor continued his campaigns against Leeuwtje. He established the Lionarchic Roarist Party, often abbreviated to the Roarists. Scor himself led the party. Though the party was an official political group, Scor kept the weapons and support received by the Sibearian Federation and Gray Triumvirate.
Inhabitants
The only group of animals living within the Lionarchy are lions. The lions however are subdivided into four separate groups, Asmanes, Liowites, Regalites and Brandals.
In the meantime several Fangtooth soldiers, belonging to the Tigerium, are present in the country at the moment holding territory for Leeuwtje. Additionally, soldiers of the Gray Triumvirate and Sibearian Federation maintain large amounts of territory for Scor and his Roarist Party.
Asmanes
Main article: Asmanes
The Asmanes are the largest ethnic subdivision of lions. They are characterized by often having beige skin and brown manes. The House of Orleons consists predominantly of Asmanes.
History
The Asmanes were originally a small group within the Lionarchy. They were often supressed by the larger group of Regalites. Once a large scale void event appeared, mainly Regalites were absorbed into the void. Leeuwtje was one of few lions to survive the void-event and proclaimed himself king of the lions as a vassal to the Tigerium. With Leeuwtje being an Asmane, most high ranking positions went to Asmanes which subsequently caused the other ethnic groups to be supressed, establishing the Asmanes as the largest group within the Lionarchy.
Liowites
Main article: Liowites
Liowites are an ethnic minority within the Lionarchy. They are characterized having orange hair. Liowites often support the Roarists. Well known Liowites include Scor, Scar and Salah.
History
Liowites were mainly dominant throughout history before the void-event, when they ruled as second class citizens behind the Regalites and ahead of the Asmanes and Brandals. The noble family representing the Liowites, House of Roarborne, served Leonidas I loyally in high ranking positions. Once the void-event appeared, all Liowites were wiped out. Once the void started opening several Liowites returned, including the members of the Roarborne family. Scor of Roarborne established the Roarist Party which ethnically favoured Liowites. Consequently, primarily Liowites supported the Roarist Party.
Regalites

Regalites are an ethnic minority within the Lionarchy who were the dominant group before the large Void-Event. Regalites are characterized often having yellow skin and yellow manes. Well known Liowites include Leonidas I and Usamah.
